Overview

Dead Horse Ranch State Park is just 30 min. west of Sedona and has a small Network of Trails that interconnect. Best known for the Thumper Loop a combonation of the Raptor Hill, Thumper and Lime Kiln Trails. Every type of rider will find something here. Camping is on site within the park, fishing at a number of the Lagoons and the Verde River. Deadhorse is a great place to be based out of for Riding Mingus Mountain and Sedona when one wants to stay away from hotels and resorts or camping in Sedona is all taken. Most of the trails have great views of the Verde Valley. Deadhorse is rideable year round but can be blazing hot mid day in the summer months.
