preface

Climbing mount NAZ from the west ridge

naz peak-1

Mount NAZ is located in CENTERAL ALBORZ Mountains between KAHAR MOUNTAIN from the east, KALVAN village from the south east and SANJ village from the south west.
Routine climbing for getting the hillside from the south east in CALVAN village is more noticeable for climbers.

Getting the summit from the west:

Combination mountain climbing and mountain biking in any route for getting the summit is always noticeable to me.
I and one of my friends called EBRAHIM decided to climb the summit by bike
We started from home to SANJ and finally we discovered there is no route for cycling

Towards the mountain and we forced to leave bikes somewhere ,because of the massive forest, narrow pass beside the valley jumping side by side along the stream and uphill track towards the saddle.

From the saddle the summit is really beautiful and it seems close to reach the top
More portion of passing way towards the summit is continued through the snow and resumed to the north and north east.

The time of trip:

At 5 am we started to cycle to BARAGHAN village and resumed to village called SANJ
The village of SANJ is located next to BARAGHAN village, to the north.
At 8.15 we started from SANJ along the river the whole of the passing way is nearby the stream, and it takes3 hours to the end of the river

2houres to get the saddle and 2 hours from the saddle up to the summit all over the path you can see the streams or springs and you have never worry about looking for the water .

The total time spent was about 17 hours as below:
6 hours for cycling,11 hours for climbing the naz peak and coming back.
i can mention that the best time to climb this montain is june.
the total of the path is beside the river and you have to go-ahead towards
the end of the river and after that you have to climb the passway trough the
saddle.
at the end of this trip i'm thankfull of my best friend ebrahim for joining.
thanks and best regurds
