Hasn't voted | On my side I recommend the bender-fender on the front and the ass-saver on the rear :) | Posted Jan 24, 2014 2:19 pm |

Hasn't voted | Not ridden yet. Smashed rear mech on Jacob's on Tuesday! Ordered medium cage XT one but wouldn't work. So waiting for replacement long cage one!!
I guess I'm hoping that the rear mudguard will not shift on rocky descents. It seems very stable. We'll see. Yes the fender bender is truly amazing and so simple. What is the ass saver like? I felt that coverage would be poor. What do you think Eric? | Posted Jan 25, 2014 3:32 am |

Hasn't voted | yes, Bender Fender is great, especially for preserving the fork from mud, for no weight. Ass Saver (link above) are great in the sense you don't get behind wet when tires generate a vertical belt of drops especially when riding wet asphalt. It makes even more sense on a road bike where the drop projections is even more linear. But it's not a real mudguard that will prevent you from going back home clean. I guess the one you found is much better. Concerning me I still use the good old Decathlon one (5E) when needed, but its defect is that it rotates horizontally and I need to correct it regularly..... | Posted Jan 26, 2014 7:38 am |

Hasn't voted | Very wet this year. Lots of flooding. Places in Somerset have been under water for a month and the rains still come. A little cooler than usual today, 2C. That's the coldest so far this winter. | Posted Jan 30, 2014 5:03 am |
